People Living with Diabetes are at the Heart of MELISSA

The MELISSA project continues to place people living with diabetes at the centre of its research. Their experiences, perspectives, and ideas are shaping how MELISSA develops its innovative AI-driven diabetes management platform.

To ensure that the project reflects the real needs of users, MELISSA has established a Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) – a diverse and motivated group of people with diabetes who act as active research partners. The PAC members share their insights on everything from app usability to daily challenges like managing insulin, staying active, and dealing with stress.
